What does he say ?
I had once thought of Bintan as a faraway remote island;- lifeless and limited in accessibility. With that in mind, I prepared myself physically and mentally before embarking on my journey here.
However this picture I had painted of Bintan began to change as soon as I set foot on the island. The island took my breath away with its beauty and it was only then that I began to see the many beauties this island had to offer. This beautiful island not only has many job opportunities but it is also filled with various places to rest and relax. A drive down to Lagoi for example will meet you with places to let your hair down while the warmth of a traditional town can always be relived with a short trip down to Tanjung Pinang. Apart from these places I’ve mentioned and just to name a few, one can also visit the Penyengat Island, Pantai Sekerah or Pantai Terikora and indulge oneself with the beauty and lush history this island has to offer.
Lobam, where Esco Bintan is located, proved to be one of the most ideal places to work in. The factories in operation here are bounded with the regulations set by BIIE (Bintan Inti Industrial Estate). This includes Esco Bintan, which is one of the largest companies in the BIIE area.
Though the tides of the global market may be strong, Esco has always been able to manage the competition well and professionally. As an employee of Esco Bintan myself, I can vouch for all that we are all happy to work with Esco. With Esco, we are challenged to maximize our fullest potential. Also with the many customized orders from our customers, this has given us many priceless opportunities to exercise our creativity. This I belief is necessary in order to survive and stay relevant in the ever-changing and challenging environment we live in.
My working experience in Bintan has definitely been worthwhile and unforgettable. No doubt, Bintan is truly the lost Pearl that most of us may not have noticed for her potency and beauty. It is definitely a loss should we be blinded and unable to see the lustre and glow this pearl has to offer.

I am happy to be working in Esco Bintan, Indonesia. I get to learn new skills and gain excellent experience here. Apart from that and getting an attractive salary, there are many beautiful resorts and places of interest found on this island, which I can visit, to rest and relax after work.
Being part of the Production team of Asia's number one Laboratory Equipment has been worthwhile and unforgettable. I am challenged to maximise innovation and creative thinking as a Mechanical Design Engineer under the Department of Research & Development. I strongly believe that Esco will grow into an even bigger world class organisation.
