Esco enforces adherence to the latest international standards within its facilities and processes. Besides being accredited with exceeding the standards of ISO 9001 (Management Quality System) for implementing a quality production system, we also align ourselves to champion the environmental cause with the implementation of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System). With Esco, you can depend on an environment-friendly working culture in our process starting from R&D right up to the delivery of quality finished product. The end-users can be assured that the equipment they operate has passed the standards of international organisations responsible for the promulgation of safety requirements, tests as well as certification.

Esco Laboratory Fume Hoods Division manufacture hoods placed on laboratory bench tops designed to capture, contain and exhaust contaminated air. Our Frontier Mono Fume Hood (EFH model) has been independently tested by INVENT-UK to pass the American standard ASHRAE 110-1995 and British Standard BS 7258 (determining fume containment capability). It has also been successfully tested for fume containment specified in the European Standard EN 14175-3.
Esco Fume Filtration Division, specializes in the construction of ductless fume cabinets. Our Ascent Ductless Cabinet (ADC model) is independently tested by INVENT-UK for the ability to filter contaminated air with efficiency and retention capacity as required by the British Standard BS 7989 and French Standard AFNOR NF X 15-211. This is on top of the tests conducted to ensure its performance in fume containment and airflow uniformity meet the requirements of ASHRAE 110-1995, BS 7258, EN 14175-3 and AFNOR NF X 15-203. Esco Biotechnology Equipment Division, with experience dating back almost 30 years, is now a key player in the industry of clean air containment. It has acquired more than 20 locally, regionally and internationally-recognised certifications. These accreditations testify to the enhanced performance of our equipment in biological and microbiological applications. The division also boasts a National Sanitation Foundation-Accredited Biohazard Cabinet Field Certifier who is available in-house full-time to supervise all testing work. The Labculture Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets has been certified to the NSF49, and independently type-tested to the EN12469 standard whereas the Airstream Class II Biological Safety cabinets are type-tested according to the EN12469, besides meeting and exceeding the requirements of the NSF49 and EN12469 standards under the Biological Safety Cabinet generic category. In addition, all units produced are also subjected to Esco's stringent safety test at our plant laboratory. |
